iFolder 3.7 does not see new users in eDirectoy.

Hi,

Earlier this week I set up test OES2 SP1 server (over SLES 10 SP2). We use the server
for iFolder.

On our existing server, I am able to add users to eDirectory, and see them in iFolder after
doing an Identity Sync. The new server does not seem to work this way. I have performed
an identity sync, checked to make sure the server context was right. The admin user is
the only user visible in iFolder. The new user is at the same level (root) in the tree as the
admin user, which is also the server context (no sub-contexts).

Has anyone else run into this issue?

are you talking about multiserver. if yes, then both servers should be under same e-dir tree. Can you explain ?

I have the same exact problem. Has anyone answered this? I create users
in eDir, and they don't show up as iFolder users.

Do you see the users show up so that you can enable them as iFolder users?

I was having the same problem that no new users appear in the users page. After I forced an identity sync in the Servers tab, the new users appeared.

In the server, make sure you add the LDAP context for which you'd like your users to be added.

You can also set the Identity sync interval lower so you don't have to always force an identity sync.

Check that out and we can go from there.
