iManager - how to identify "patch level"

Hi all,
there is an article in the knowledgebase "History of issues resolved for Novell iManager 2.7" (https://www.novell.com/support/kb/doc.php?id=7010166) and there are resolved issues according to particular releases (iManager 2.7 SP7 Patch4, iManager 2.7 SP7 Patch3,........). But I don't know how to identify the patch level of my iManager. The version is 2.7.7 (20150325_0412), installed on OES11 SP2 server.

My second question is, if there is a difference between iManager for OES and "nonOES" platform.

Thanks for help

Checking the package version will give you the iManager version but not
the build or patch level (for iManager).

As you've found, clicking the "Novell iManager" words in iManager itself
will display an "About Information" page which gives you the iManager
version, build code, plus any installed field patches. My fully patched
test OES11 SP2 server says

--begin--
Version 2.7.7 (20150325_0412)
Copyright (c) 1999-2013 Novell, Inc.
All rights reserved.

Field Patches:
Patch 1 -- 20140113
---end---

Note also that TID 7010166 which you linked also references Tomcat and
Java versions since these are also updated by iManager patches.

Yes there are some differences but the major difference is that you
should only update iManager on an OES server via the monthly OES patch
update sets. The iManager updates available for download are only for
non-OES installs (i.e. eDirectory on SLES, RHEL, etc.).

Sorry I should also add that iManager patches are available to install
within iManager itself. On the same server, on the Available Novell
Plug-in Modules page I have listed

iManager Framework 2.7.7.20150325 Patch 4 for iManager 2.7.7

along with matching (same version) iManager Base Content and iManager
Framework Content plug-in modules which when installed (and Tomcat
restarted) updated iManager to

--begin--
Version 2.7.7 (20150325_0412)
Copyright (c) 1999-2013 Novell, Inc.
All rights reserved.

Field Patches:
Patch 4 -- 20150325
Patch 1 -- 20140113
---end---
