iPrint jobs take 4mins to print!

Replacing a Windows 2003 Server
Printer 8 installed on the Server with TCPIP port and published in Active
Directory

XP and Windows 7 Workstations can simply use the printer setup on the server

is there something on OES that can publish printers to workstations in a
similar way ?

Tried iPrint but print Jobs take 4-5 mins to print
I did try setting Direct mode in iPrint since auditing is not necessary - no
improvement

if I setup a TCP Port for the printer on a workstation - printing is INSTANT
!
so iPrint is delaying printing

is there anyway to speed it up ?

Setting up TCP Ports on workstations is no fun task as we are talking 25
workstations

Can you take a lan trace on PC when using iprint direct and iprint
client 5.78?
