installing iFolder on Apache 1.3.29

HI,

I am trying to install iFolder 2.1 on my NetWare 6 SP4 server. This
server has apache 1.3.29 running and when I try to install the iFolder it
says I need 1.3.26 or 1.3.27. Is there a way around this besides back dating
my Apache? Would I need to backdate the version, install iFolder and then
patch again?

Let me check, you could possibly hack the install scripts. Another
option is to put in .26 or .27 versions of just apache.nlm and
apachec.nlm during the install.

Re: installing iFolder on Apache 1.3.29

HI Anders,

That did it. I copied the older NLM's over for the installation then
copied it back before I did a startifolder. Now I can login as admin
to the browser, but as soon as I go to global settings it comes up with
the following error "Unable to get root DSE". This is the only server we
have with a master replica. Any idea's?

Rob.

Does:

apply?

If not: Is iFolder and the LDAP server run on the same physical
server?

Re: installing iFolder on Apache 1.3.29

HI Anders,

Yes LDAP and iFolder are on the same server, and this server holds the
master of ROOT. There is at the moment only 1 NetWare server in the =organization.

OK. I would like to see an LDAP trace. Enable tracing on the LDAP
Server/Group object. Then LOAD DSTRACE and turn off everything and on

LDAP (+LDAP). Then trace to file and retry the operation. Post the log

here.

Ooops... I think you are supposed to have a search base there.. Ie
where are your objects in the tree... Let me check on Novell with
this.
