mac osx dhcp client doesn't get dns server value

Our mac stations don't seem to pick up the dns server specification from
dhcp, although our windows units do...this causes problems for nfpa and
lots of other stuff since internal server names don't resolve for them.

For now we've put in the value manually even though we are using dhcp
for the ip address and router but, is there something we can do to
address this?

Jim,

I'm not sure why you posted this in the NFA forum -- it certainly
doesn't belong here. If using Novell's DHCP server, you might try the
DNS-DHCP forum, although I would suspect a client side problem much
moreso than a server problem in this case. Best of luck.
