migrate from OES linux (SLES9) to OES 2 sp2

I have to migrate an old OES to new hardware with OES2 Sp2 (workgroup edition).
In the old server the file SuSE-release say: Version=9, Patchlevel=4 and
Novell-release say: Version=9, Patch level 12/16/2005 OES SP2.

On the old server groupwise is installed (version 7) and I have to migrate it to groupwise 8, on the new server of course.

I have searched on the web the documentation for migrate , but without satisfaction for my environment, so I’m asking some help from community.

Someone has any suggestion?

Thanks
Fabrizio

You'll want to look into the migration tools to do this.

Good morning for the Migration of the OES system the MIGGUI tool does really work the best for that situation, just make sure that your current tree is healthy and certificates are valid. For the GroupWise you could perform the update on the current server and just have to Migrate that to the new one, in my case I have not had to do a OES GW system, mine have been on NW and I have upgraded the GW system first, and then moved the data to the new server and ran the install for OES2 and moved the GW system to a new volume, after the Migration of the OS is completed then did the GW which worked out well because I also had a backup of the data for GW.
