namuseradd is erroring out
We automate new student entry with ldif and namuseradd. Sometime between last spring and this fall, namusradd has stopped working. We are running OES2SP3(SLES10SP4) + online updates via SMT. We recently upgraded this server from OES2SP2, but it was still displaying this error:
# namuseradd -a cn=[adminuser],ou=Technology,ou=Staff,o=District -w [adminpass] -x ou=I2021,ou=Students,o=District -g cn=LUM_Users_2,o=District -p asd43152 KATHUGHE
Error in ndsuseradd(): [Invalid syntax]
Error in ndsuseradd: [-38]
Invalid syntax
Any thoughts?

Solution for us...
Edit /etc/nam.conf and change remote LDAP server to local LDAP server.
