ncpserver

I had an sles 10sp1 with edir and groupwise installed. Then I would like to connect to the groupwise domain from a windows PC because I need to use gw fid editor.
I upgraded server to sles 10sp2 and then oes2 sp1. I did not reconfigure edir but just other services including ncp.
ncpcon starts and I can run some commands, for example version. Some other commands get invalid command, for example config and stats.
When I try to create a volume I get error:
Volume gw could not be created, error *ɷ.

Yesterday I got Volume gw could not be created, error ii

I have tried to reconfigure NCP again but same problem..

I would not like to reconfigure edir because this is a one-server-tree so I do not have any replica !
