nlist.exe that's not memory limited

Running NW6.5.6

I have a dos script that I use to produce a simple edirectory user list
from a batch file. Our tree has gotten so large that NLIST now fails
due to lack of memory.

Has anyone out there come up with a non-memory-limited NLIST equivalent
that I can run from a DOS prompt that would give me the same info as
NLIST /s /r /c -- hopefully in the same format so I wouldn't have to
modify my data-parsing subroutine very much! 🙂

Tried the option not to sort the results?

Well I must admit defeat! I've looked all through the online
documentation and can't find an option to not sort the results. Do you
know it off the top of your head? thanks!

<g>, yep it is. I'd second Wolfgang's DSReport as the way to go though

Cheers Dave

Wolfgang's DSReport is a great tool (I've used it before) but I need
something that I can run from DOS that will plug into my existing batch
files.

Re: nlist.exe that's not memory limited

Run it a few times from different contexts rather than once from root, and
just append to the output file ?

That worked. Thanks! (I'm actually kinda embarrassed I didn't think of
that myself)
