novell-named not starting after OES 2018 upgrade

After upgrading to OES 2018 my rcnovell-named service will not come up

I have ran:

ndsrepair -T
ndsrepari -E
ndsrepair -C -Ad -A

With no error found

When I try to start the service I get:

"rcnovell-named start
Job for novell-named.service failed because the control process exited with error code. See "systemctl status novell-named.service" and "journalctl -xe" for details."

The contents of the /var/opt/novell/log/named/named.run log file shows:
16-Jul-2018 12:29:25.848 general: main: notice: starting BIND 9.3.2 -u named -D
16-Jul-2018 12:29:25.851 general: server: info: found 2 CPUs, using 2 worker threads
16-Jul-2018 12:29:26.987 general: dns/db: info: Unable to get configuration from eDirectory failed with error 70'
16-Jul-2018 12:29:26.987 general: server: info: DNS Server Object does Not exist
16-Jul-2018 12:29:26.987 general: server: critical: loading configuration: (result code text not available)
16-Jul-2018 12:29:26.987 general: server: critical: exiting (due to fatal error)

/etc/hosts file looks good

Any help would be appreciated

Thank you!

Have you checked the OES 2018 documentation?

You can turn on debug level logging (-d) which may provide more
information:
novell-named Command Line Options

There is a whole section on troubleshooting here:
