nssmu - can't remove cluster partition

Following tid 3317095 and a Feb 1st post from Massimo regarding removing cluster services from a two node cluster, netware 6.5sp6. On step 5 in the TID, I cannot delete the SBD cluster partition using nssmu. Error is:

20897 Remove Partition - failure to get specific info <press ENTER to continue>

Thank you!

Re: nssmu - can't remove cluster partition

Restarted the nodes and then was able to delete partition in nssmu. While nodes were down, powered down direct attached storage, and changed switch to single back plane, took scsi cable off node to be removed from cluster, and powered up everything. Then the attached node saw the storage and was able to recreate the pools volumes and also remove the other node from edirectory.

Re: nssmu - can't remove cluster partition

It is because the clustering modules are either not unloaded or there was something in cache that would not let it be deleted. Once you did the restart of the server, it cleared all of the cache and nlms.
