printing through a firewall

not sure where to post this, sorry

we are running NW 6.5 sp3

what i need to do is print from the corporate network through to a printer
on the public network (not my choice) obviously the corp side has a
firewall. Is this possible.do i need to open port 631 on the firewall???

If you use iPrint the client will use port 631 to talk to the server
and then the server will use whatever port it need (the standard port
is 9100 I think for those Jetdirect printservers).

So what firewall ports you need to open depends on your setup.
