"login" link on Web iFolder

When accessing iFolder from outside LAN, the Login link is pointing to
the internal address, rather than the public IP
(192.168.xxx.xxx:52443/applet/java.htm).

Download/Quick Start/Help links all point correctly.

How can I fix?

You need to change it in the html-file so that it uses a DNS name
instead. The file is in sys/apache/ifolder/documentroot/html and is
called ifolder_nav.html

Re: "login" link on Web iFolder

Anders -

forgive my ignorance, but do you mean something
like "http://ifolder.domain.com"?

If so, is that something I need to register? Does ISP need to 'point'
or
create something on their side?

thanks for the quick reply

Jeff

Re: "login" link on Web iFolder

Have a look at the URL below. I have a revised file there you can
adapt to work with one internal IP address and another for Internet
access.

Yes.

Yes. They will. Assume that you have an address on the public side of

202.112.123.1, they will need to create an "A" record that points
ifolder.domain.com to that. Then if the same host is 10.0.0.1 on the
inside,
you need to make internal PCs see that address instead. The scope of
this is
beyond this forum. But a simpler way is to do what Craig suggests and
have
two links nav page.
