re-sizing pools

I have NW6.5 with 3 pools 1. SYS 2. Groupwise and 3 DATA. The sys and
Groupwise pools have volumes of the same name migrated from NW 5. The
Groupwise pool is nearly full and I have plenty of availability in the
DATA POOL (over 200GB). Is it possible to re-size the DATA pool and assign
the available space to the Groupwise pool. OR alternatively is it possible
to move the Groupwise Volume to the DATA Pool, delete the Groupwise pool
and assign that additional space to the DATA pool ? I understood it was
possible to move volumes but am now told that it is not advisable.? (All
NSS volumes)

Thanks

Re: re-sizing pools

One possibility would be to use VCU to migrate your Groupwise volume into
the DATA pool, then delete your Groupwise pool and finally expand your
DATA pool to include the free space that previously belonged to your
Groupwise pool.

Many Thanks for your help,

After implementing a few times in a test environment I finally did this on
the live server and thankfully it worked a treat.

Thanks again.
