stuff in bash shell not working as hoped

working on a dsbackup scheme using dsbk.

Cool soloutions has this:
Cool Solutions: Using dsbk on Linux and Unix

Works find in linux, to timestamp filenames.

Tried it in NetWare 6.5 (eDir Does not seem to work. One hassle is the date thingie does not seem to work in file names, as in linux.

Bigger problem is that dsbk does not seem to like being called from the bash shell. While it invokes, it seems unhappy with the file location. Apparently. Says it cannot find log file. No amount of fussing around with variation of path "/" vs "\", etc. seem to make it happy.

Am I just wasting time trying to get this to work?

Did you configure the Bash shell mount points in sys:\etc\pathtab?
