unable to copy compressed files to local disk, second try to copy work

NW 6.5 SP3, 2 Node Cluster, NSS with compression activated
Windows XP, SP2, NW Client 4.91 and other Hardware / Software combinations

When I try to copy compressed files to a local disk, I get an error "Source
file or Source Harddisk can not be read" (translated from geman to english).
After the first access the file colour (in windows explorer changes from
blue to black [normally means commpressed to uncompressed]).
When I try to copy the file now, it is working.

Any idea?

Thx
Holger

Re: unable to copy compressed files to local disk, second try to copy work

Have you tried putting file caching off on the server and client ?

Re: unable to copy compressed files to local disk, second try to copy work

Yes,
first lines in my autoexec.ncf are:

set client file caching enabled=off
set level 2 oplocks enabled=off

on the client side, the caching was active, but disabling does not solve my
problem.
