upgrade Smart Array (3200 to 5300)

NW65SP4a with Smary Array 3200 controller, wish to upgrade to Smary Array
5304. Do I boot with 5300 alongside 3200 into Compaq System Partition,
update System Partition with new hardwars, boot into NetWare, bring down
server, rollover SCSI cable(s) to 5300, remove 3200, bring server up. Does
this sound ok?

Re: upgrade Smart Array (3200 to 5300)

Generally, HP/Compaq smart array controllers are compatible in that you
can unplug an array from a controller and plug it into a different
controller provided the new controller is functionally the same or better
than the old controller. There should not even be the need to boot with
both controllers in the machine at the same time.

If you use the same disks, there is no data to move
