Improvement - OA internal message filter content pack

Hello:

We are using "OA internal message filter content pack" (https://marketplace.microfocus.com/itom/content/oa-content-pack-for-internal-message-filtering) in order to filtering messages from OA that are not meaningful. One of these messages that we need to filter is relative to controlled OA restart. The two messages are:

(bbc-250) Communication Broker stopped. Exit code (0).
(bbc-259) Starting the OV Communication Broker on port number 383.

These messages are sent when a controlled OA restart has been launched (for example, whe restarting a machine, restarting a OA...)

The main problem here is that these two messages are generated by opcmsga before opcmsgi has been started, so those messages are not evaluated by the OA internal message filter msgi policy and are always sent to console.

These behaviour should be customizable, since we have thousands of controlled reboots every day and we have thousands of not meaningful events on console.

Have you checked this agent configuration variable?

OPC_INT_MSG_FLT_AWS

With this variable set to TRUE, OM internal messages will always be filtered by the message interceptor even when the process does not run. Internal messages will arrive, in this case, at the next startup of the message interceptor. If you set this variable to TRUE, no internal messages will be sent unfiltered to the management server anymore.

OPC_INT_MSG_FLT must be set to TRUE in order to use OPC_INT_MSG_FLT_AWS.
