New kinds of event in "Agent Health Check" function in OBM

New kinds of event in "Agent Health Check" function in OBM

Hi Team,

Currently, there are two kinds of event's type in "Agent Health Check" function in OBM and it was so generally. It just contains: "Agent is running" or "Agent Health Problem...". My idea is could we add some more types of "Agent Health Check" event for every specific situation like:

  - OBM can not ping to Node (Ping time out): Have to show event critical with titile Server maybe down or can not ping to Server

  - Some critical agent process stopped or aborded: OMI have to send major event with title process name stopped or aborded agent will not working

  - Some not critical agent process stopped or aborded: OMI have to send major event with title process name stopped or aborded agent still working and have to show if those process error which monitor component not working

Looking forwads to your news.

Pin.

Good idea as it is better to identify the issue from the initial message rather than  be able to go and check the cause

For the first one, there is already another idea under consideration about agent ping moniroting to differentiate between server down and agent down. For others, it will be evaluated as appropriate.
