[OBM] MP Weblogic 2018.07 - Allow separate Weblogic domains with same name (not reconciliation)

[OBM] MP Weblogic 2018.07 - Allow separate Weblogic domains with same name (not reconciliation)

Hello everyone:

My idea is about to allow different Weblogic domains with the same name without reconciliate them.

When we have several Weblogic domains with the same name (in different environments) with weblogic instances, J2EE Domain reconciliation rules thinks they are the same domain and they merge both of them. But this is wrong, because they belong to 2 different machines.

Reconciliation rule for the CIT J2EEDomain says:

<identification-config type="j2eedomain" description="J2EE Domains are identified by a combination of their name and at least one member J2EE Server.">

With an example:

-> Machine1:
J2EE Domain: CSPX
Instances Weblogic: CSPXwladmin0(admin) / CSPXwlncspx01

-> Machine2:
J2EE Domain: CSPX
Instances Weblogic: CSPXwladmin0(admin) / CSPXwlncspx01

In this case, we can see that J2EE Domain and Weblogic instances names are the same, but they are in 2 different environments (two different machines), and they should be discovered like that. On the contrary, OMi thinks they are the same domain and they merge both of them.

As J2EE Domain are the same name and  they have at least one member J2EE Server (Weblogic instance is a child CIT  of J2EE Server) --> Reconcilitaion rules merge them. (wrong behaviour).

We think that behaviour could be improvemented.

Thanks Anmol.

I was talking with Lohit Barki and he suggests me to open this idea.
