Operations bridge Down time for event filter

0 Votes

Dear ALL,

during down time if there is event related to OS for example ( CPU - MEM -Diskspace ) it will be missed and wil not open again after down time.

My idea is to configure Downtime according to event Filter or to find eazy way to exclude some events from Down time

Hi,

In addition to the suggestion made by Asaf, instead of closing the events during downtime, you can mark them to resolved state and they will be available in the active event browser if not closed automatically by monitoring. Will this meet your requirement?

Thanks & Regards,

Mamta

HI Mgoyal,

thanks a lot for your interest actually not the above doesn't meet my  requirements

case the first solution by Asaf the events are suppressed and I want it in the closed browser

and also with huage number of events it may make performance issue to process the script in all the incoming events

can you please clarify what next after Idea accepted

Hi,

Accepted means we will address it in the next release of the product. We plan to add an event filter in the Downtime Behavior UI which should allow to include or exclude certain events from downtime.

Thanks & Regards,

Mamta
