Secured JMX monitoring (for kafka and zookeeper)

Secured JMX monitoring (for kafka and zookeeper)

Currently it is possible to monitor Apache Kafka and Zookeeper products by receiving counters from a JMX port, exposed by the applications.

However it is required for this connection to be secured and there is currently no option for secured JMX monitoring for Zookeeper and Kafka,

Status changed to: Already Offered

Hi

SiteScope already allows credentials to be input when monitoring remote JMX destinations. The destinations (in this case Kafka & Zookeeper) need to be configured to require credentials and this can be checked on the Kafka / Zookeeper documentation. No additional product changes are required for SiteScope.

Thanks
