OBR: Content Packs Deployed ~ No Report Folders in BI Portal

Jump to solution

I've never seen this one before.

All Data Sources are set up correctly, appropriate CPs are deployed, logs show data being collected.

However, there is no Operations Bridge Reporter folder in the BI Portal, and no Infrastructure subdirectories, for SiteScope, vCenter, SM, etc. reports.

Any ideas?

There seems to have been an Active Directory policy at work here, which fires up on system boot and on certain time intervals, and it will turn on UAC in the registry after it is turned off.

In short, OBR-ers should check this registry key and UAC in the Windows Control Panel before deploying OBR Content Packs, as this will be the result.

Hi,

it is bit interesting, i am thinking it might be deleted accidently, in that case you can find the universes and connections as well.

and also there is job entry(success/failure/partial success) in promotion management tool in CMC.

if no other universes and promotion management entry. we can look into packagemanager.log for any app content pack failure but not reported in UI.
