(BSM) Support Tip: BSM 9.2x Preserve JVM memory changes for BSM processes
There is a new functionality introduced with BSM 9.24
To use this functionality you need to know for what process you want to change the memory allocation values.
1.- Locate the necessary file in the \bin\ folder using the following pattern - <process_name> _vm_params.ini
for example mercuryAS_vm_params.ini
2.- Change the required values and add the following special marker - #dont_override – on a new line of that file. Then restart the process or BSM.
This is an example of the content of that file:
-Xms925m –Xmx1024m -XX:PermSize=265m -XX:MaxPermSize=630m
-#dont_override
