Hello all.
We're using HP Operations Manager for Windows 9 (HPOMW) to monitor many WIndows 2008 servers.
A few of these Windows 2008 servers will soon be given new IP addresses.
The FQDN will NOT be changing - just the IP address.
Does this IP address change require the HPOMW agent to be removed before the change and re-installed after the change is completed?
I don't believe an IP address change requires the agent to be removed/re-installed as long as the FQDN is staying the same.
Could someone please confirm this or tell me if I'm mistaken.
Thanks all.

Regarding your concern, attached you are going to find the procedure to change the IP Address of a node.
Also, you can find these instruction on page 64 on the HPOM Online Help file. According to the procedure above, you don't ave to remove and reinstall the agent.
By the way if the you want to change the IP address of the management server, the procedure is on page 476 in the same guide mentioned above. Please attached this procedure as well
