Event Filter: How to delete an expression without delete all of them?

Jump to solution

Hi all

When creating an event folter for OM you can stack AND, OR and NOT expressions to build an advanced filter. The more expression your adding the more lines will be stacked in the filter.

||||| OR
|||| OR

|||AND

||OR

|OR

Now for example i would like to delete the AND filter element from the filter defintion. When i press the delete button on the top of the "Edit Event Filter" window i will lose all other filter expression which are stacked under the one i am trying to delete. I would have to rebuild these.

We are using much more complex filter rules where we have dozend of stacked filter expressions. Assuming we have to delete one of the bottom ones this would mean we have to rebuild all of the filter.

Is there another way to handle this?

Thanks for your help

Actually i did figure this one out by myself in the meantime. You can drag and drop all enclosed elements up to the one you would like to delete to another place in the filter definition. then once the one definition you would like to delete is empty you can simply delete it with the red X. afterwards you can drag and drop the other defonitions back.
this is actually very user unfriendly. but in the end it works.
