1.

HAC (High Availability Controller)  is to perform an automatic failover if it detects compromised DPS services.

2.

The Nanny process is responsible for all processes running on an OMi system. If an OMi process fails,
Nanny restarts it automatically and records the information to a log file.

Monitors the OMi Nanny process log file nannyStatus.log located in the <OMi_ HOME>/log/supervisor

You can read into OMi Administration Guide for more relevant inforamtion.
