HP UX node showing CPU % --Urgent

Hi Experts,

                      We use OMW 9.0 installed in win 2008 R2 . In one managed  HP-UX node, CPU utilization shows 100% for 2 hours .But as per the team it not crossed even >80% .

We dint get any alerts for that in OMW .Can we trust it as its proper value or its a fault value from OM agent ?

We have service moniotoring policy for each 3 min to monitor ScopeUX and if stopped it will be started by automatic command .

I have attahced status.* files. Please suggest .

if you are bothered about the system generating an alert, give us more details about what's happening on the system. run top command and paste the screenshot.

 

run the command ovcodautil -support and share the output of that command here - i hope to see the metric GBL_CPU_TOTAL_UTIL showing 100(%) if what you say is right.

 

the logs that you have shared are really not much help for this particular problem.

 

also, tell us what om policy you are using for the monitoring/alerts.
