How to export policies in OMW console

Hello,

 

Is there any easy way to export policies in an excel sheet through OMW server console.

Hello Palani_selvam,

 

If you are just after a list of policies as shown in the console then you can select the node you are interested in, right-click on the node and select "All Tasks >  View > Policy Inventory" and then when the list of policies is shown click on one of the policies.

Now look at the icons at the top of the MMC and select the "Export List" icon which will present you with a File Save dialog which will allow you to save the policy list as Tab Delimited or Comma Delimited. You can then import this list into Excel.

Just to add to Colin note's

 

This process will also work with policy groups as long as ther is no subfolder, cause is will not display the folder ontent.

So if you have a policy group that you use on all of several machines, you can export it in  this way.
