Interpreting Status Values for End User Management Application Summary Reports
The End User Management Application Summary report contains Avaiability and Performance values, and status colors.
How is the performance value determined for BPM applications? it looks like it is the sum of the OK and minor values in the corresponding tooltip.
And how is the performance status color determined for BPM applications? below is what i found in the manual. is this what is actually used? and if so, how do i interpret the last sentence "Based on this value, according to a predefined range..."? what is the predefined range of color values, and how is it changed? i didn't see a Status Average Rule in the Business rules repository...
Status Average Rule
In this rule, performance status is calculated by assigning a value to the status of each sample included in the report (OK-20, Minor-10, Critical-0), totalling these values, and dividing the result by the total number of available transactions or actions included in the report to obtain an average value between 0-20. This average value determines the status (and coloring) of the measurement in the report, according to the following table:
Calculated Average Value
By default, when calculating the average value, equal weight is given to each status. You can change the weight given to a status in the calculation. For details, see Changing the Weighting of the Status Average Rule.
Note: Location threshold offsets are used by the Status Average rule. For concept details, see Location Threshold Offsets Overview.
Using the Status Average rule, the status is calculated by totalling the values assigned to each sample according to its status and dividing the total by the number of samples, to obtain a status average of 12.5 ((20+0+10+20)/4). Based on this value, according to a predefined range, the status for the transaction in the report is Minor (yellow).
