Is it possible to not monitor specific datacenters?

Jump to solution

We wish to block a specific datacenter from being monitored from our vCenter server (lab datacenter). Is this a possibility? I couldnt find any information on removing the monitoring like this.

nope there's no way to 'exclude' a datacenter or cluster or any object.

you could set up the vcenter user account in such a way that access to the datacenter is not there. that should work.
