Issues with VPV LDAP configuration

Hello all,

 

In our environment, we have VPV and CSA integration in the design. VPV and CSA are installed and configured.  Also, integrated CSA with VPV. We are trying to enable LDAP integration in VPV. Some how, it is not working. Also from CSA side, if I want to add VPV as provider I need to provide username and password (which is currently none). 

 

Has any one faced similar issue. Please assist.

I presume you are using vPV 2.20 version. Do you have any hotfix installed? I would recommend installing the latest consolidated hotfix (hotfix 4). With this LDAP configuration gets much simpler - vPV provides a UI  (with appropriate help) in the Settings page to configure LDAP settings.

Hello SGS,

  Let us also know, why do you want to add vPV as a provider in CSA ? Are you using CSL content to get placement suggestion from vPV server ?
