Monitoring a directory

Please can somebody advise how to set up a policy to monitor a folder or directory on a server using OM? Similar to the directory monitor in SiteScope.

Example of the kind of thing I mean:

Alert if a file drops.

Alert if more then 5 files in the folder.

Alert if files in the folder more then an hour.

thanks in advance.

Hello,

You can find a lot of customizing scripts in http://www.ovinternals.com/custompol.htm.

No standard out of the box solution for monitoring the directory as you have requested. You have to write a script with OS command like find , dir etc with different switches and call opcmsg or opcmon API if needs to be alerted.
