Multiple Error and Good thresholds processing

Hello,

How does SiteScope process if there are multiple error conditions? I so not see OR/AND flag that can be set establish whether both condition has to match or either one will generate necessary thresold violations.

For example:

Temparature <= 0 or Temparature >=100 has to be set as Critical

0 < Temparature < 100 has to be set as Normal

Not knowing whether is it OR/AND operation between two settings, this calls for two monitors.

Can someone through light on the processing of multiple conditions.

Thanks a lot.

Sathya

Thresholds get evaluated starting from Error. If no conditions within the Error group are met, then evaluation goes further to Warning etc. Within the same group multiple conditions are considered as combined via OR, i.e. if at least one condition is met, then evaluation process is stopped.

In your case you just need to add 2 conditions for Error thresholds: <=0 as well as >100. In either case the monitor status will turn into Error. Otherwise, it will be OK.
