OBR on Vertica

Hi Team

Can we have multiple OBR database instances located in single vertica server i.e I have 3 OBR servers and want the instances of these 3 OBR servers point to one vertica database server .

This is to check from saving the number of servers required for OBR installations angle.

Also let me know how clustering is possible (3 node cluster for vertica)

is it possible?

Multiple OBR databases on the same vertica cluster is not a supported configuration at this time.

The veritca cluster support and setup is doucmented in the OBR HA Guide, pages 34-50.

let me know if OBR 3 node cluster concept just helps in terms of data redundancy or will it help in processing data faster compare to 1 vertica db server. If we have document for the same please share.

I'm actually doing testing on an OBR 3-Vertica DB Node Cluster currently.

I can provide feedback here, as to what succeeds and fails, if you like?
