Remote Console on OMW9

Hello expert,

 

can you please advice how to get the Remote Console OMW9 file to install on the users pc, please?

 

Also any information on how to configure and etc is highly appreciated.

Hello

 

You can install OMW 9.0 Remote Console on any supported Windows platform using the same OMW 9.0 Server Installation Media. During the installation it will ask you if you are installing the server or just the console and you can choose Console.

 

You can see details of the supported platform where the Remote Console can be installed in the Support Matrix (SUMA) from HP.

 

Also please note that Remote Console is not supported and it is difficult to get it to work if there is a firewall (other than Windows Firewall) between the Remote Console and the OMW server - so make sure of this as well. If there is a firewall you may be better off using the OMW Web Console which is a slightly light weight version but still pretty useful and does not have any such firewall restrictions.
