Report can't be displayed when using a secure port

Jump to solution

Hello,

Our management required we make SiteScope URL's secure.  After configuring to use HTTPS with port 8443 I am able to login into SiteScope but when I do reports from my desktop I get an error "This page can't be displayed",  "Make sure the web address "https sitescope port 8899" is correct.  But if I logon to the SiteScope Server and do the same function the report is displayed.  I have checked the port 8899 is opened on SiteScope Server.  I have attached a screen shot of the port information from the configuartion tool.

Also Since we made the change to HTTPS I can nolonger connect to SiteScope Server from the controller.  Please let me know if you have suggestions or additional information is needed.

HP SiteScope 11.33.521 64-bit JVM, Build 437

Setting in the Master.config file.

_httpActivePort=8888
_httpsActivePort=8899

_httpSecurePort=8899

All,

Issue with the report is resolved.  After our laptops were updated 3 days ago, then the report started working.  Still have the issue connecting to SiteScope via controller, I open a post in the loadrunner forum for that issue.  Thanks everyone.

Hello,

Did you check if there is firewall rule between SiS server and your desktop?, telnet from your desktop to port 8899?

Regards,

Allan DC.

Alan,

Thanks for responding.  I am able to telnet from the controller server to the SiteScope server using port 8899.  I have attached a screen shot of a excel doc with available ports on the SiteScope Server.

Alan,

I also tested a telnet connection from my desktop to SiteScope Server port 8899.  Connected just fine.  I am running out of ideas.

Thanks
