Reporter & Performance Manager Installation

Hi Guys,

Kindly could you help me with the following:

--> Can Reporter 4.0 be installed with external database as SQL 2012?

--> Can Performance Manager be integrated to Reporter if it is going to use embedded database ( SQL Express 2008)?

--> I have two servers , one for OMW 9 and another for Reporter 4 , which is the best place to install the performance manager , the OMW server or Reporter Server?

Thanks,

Hello,

--> Can Reporter 4.0 be installed with external database as SQL 2012?

Answer: Please refer to " Installation and Configuration Guide" available at:

http://support.openview.hp.com/selfsolve/document/KM00200885

and SUMA available at:

http://support.openview.hp.com/selfsolve/document/KM323488

Reporter does not support SQL 2012 as Database.

--> Can Performance Manager be integrated to Reporter if it is going to use embedded database ( SQL Express 2008)?

Please refer once more to SUMA for supported databases and Integrations possible .

--> I have two servers , one for OMW 9 and another for Reporter 4 , which is the best place to install the performance manager , the OMW server or Reporter Server?

This it's a decision that you will need to take based on your infrastructure and used monitoring solution.

Hope this information helps.
