(SHR) Support Tip: How to check the RTSM user name and password is ok

If you are not sure if the RTSM user name and/or password are correct when configuring the RTSM as the topology source in SHR, try connecting to the RTSM with a browser from the SHR system. Use a URL similar to:




You will be prompted for a user name and password for the CMDB_OPEN_API. If the user name and password exist in the RTSM, you should get back the following:


Please enable REST support in WEB-INF/conf/axis2.xml and WEB-INF/web.xml


If the user name or password is wrong you will be prompted for the user name and password again.
