SHR To OBR Migration Documentation

Hello, Is there any documentation to migrate from SHR to OBR?

Bad news. OBR 10 is based on Vertica DB versus Sybase, and Business Objects version has increased. I just checked the interactive installer documentation for OBR 10, and there's no upgrade path, migration tool, etc. Open a case with support on this, and escalate to the R&D Lab people if need be, as they might have a long and tedious way to get SHR 9.4x data into OBR, but there's no migration wizard tool, my friend. 😉

As Mike indicated, there is no user-based migration or update path from SHR 9.x to OBR 10.00.  In a future release of OBR, an SHR migration will be supported with a migration tool, etc.

Mike is right on a second point as well:  If there is a very strong business case for a 9.x to 10.00 migration, it can be taken on a case-by-case request.  Otherwise, users should be encouraged to deploy 10.00 as a new solution or wait to migrate from 9.x until migration tools become available.
