[SIS 11] Failed collecting measurements from SAPPerformanceMonitor

When creating SAP Performance Monitor in SIS 11.00, I got the following errors:
[http-8080-Processor23] (APIMonitor.java:1347) ERROR - Failed to get class property details for property: availableCountersHierarchical in monitor type: SAPPerformanceMonitor
COM.freshtech.SiteScopeException.SiteScopeOperationalException: Error Code: 31008. Error Description: Error getting counters : Unable to connect to the SAP
at com.mercury.sitescope.api.APIMonitor.getClassProperty(APIMonitor.java:3451)
at com.mercury.sitescope.api.APIMonitor.getClassPropertyDetails(APIMonitor.java:1325)
at com.mercury.sitescope.platform.configmanager.CountersTreeManager.getAvailableCounters(CountersTreeManager.java:109)
at com.mercury.sitescope.platform.configmanager.CountersTreeManager.getCountersTree(CountersTreeManager.java:55)
at com.mercury.sitescope.api.MonitorProxy.getAvailableCounters(MonitorProxy.java:420)

I can get the counters for SAPPerformanceMonitor in SIS anyway, but not the values.

The statement "Error Description: Error getting counters : Unable to connect to the SAP" says it cant reach to server. Is the user you are having enough rights to access these counters? Check with the application team once and try again?

Hi Sujith,
The account has SAP_ALL privilege. Thanks.

Can you manually see the counters in that SAP server using the account you are using for sitescope monitoring?

Hi Sujith,
Thanks for your reply. Actually I have a CCMS monitor on same SIS server which is working well. And I don't know the way to check the SAP Performance counters in SAP. It is not documented. Please advise. Thanks.

Hi Sujith,
I double checked that I can get the values from ST03 in SAPGUI with that account. Is it a known bug of SiteScope?

Hi, I also have the same problem creating CMMS monitor. My SiteScope version is 11.

Did you get any solution with this?

Im just getting the same "31008" error trying to connect to the SAP.

Apparently besides "SAP_ALL" you need to grant this profiles to the SAP user:

S_A.SYSTEM
PD_CHICAGO
S_WF_RWTEST

We´re troubleshooting this recommendation from Monitor Reference Documentation.

Best regards.
