Jump to solution

Hi all,

I installed new SPI Infrastructure 2.0 on HP-UX, without ERROR

-bash-4.1# opcsv -version
@(#)HP Operations Manager 09.10.200 PHSS_41692 (02/03/11)

In OMU i don't see service.

-bash-4.1# opcservice -list

-bash-4.1#

-bash-4.1# opcservice -list -services

-bash-4.1#

 Command returning empty result.

The problem was in version agent in HPOM server. I update agent 8.60 to 11 and problem resolved

Hello there,

Check to see if there is anything there:

# cat  /etc/opt/OV/share/conf/OpC/mgmt_sv/opcsvcm/services

This is the service file which is used to build the service tree.

Also, you can check /var/opt/OV/shared/server/log/OvSvcDiscServer.log to see if there is anything in there.  On the agent where discovery was run, check the System.txt file for errors.

Thanks,

Duncan

The map view displays the real-time status of your infrastructure environment. To ensure that the operator can view the service map in the HPOM for HP-UX, Solaris, and Linux Operational UI, run the following commands on the management server: opcservice -assign SystemServices

I run:
-bash-4.1# opcservice -assign opc_adm SystemServices
Error:   Operation 'assign' Error: Service SystemServices doesn't exist. (SVC50-2) (SVC10-109)
-bash-4.1#

I have exactly same problem. Fresh install of OMU 9.1, all patches, Infrastructure SPI 2.0 (tried 1.6 also).

SI AutoDiscovery distributed to OMU server node, discovery completed without errors (everything ok in System.txt), but Service Tree is absolutely empty.

No errors in log files.

tried with no luck:

ovagtrep -run ...

ovagtrep -publish
