Services accounts used by HPOV management server

Hi Team,

 

Could you tell me what all service accounts used for HP OV montoring tool

Hello

 

OM-Windows management server has just two key accounts

HP-OVE-User

HP-OVE-Deleg-User

 

The first one runs most of the OMW services on the OMW server and has full admin rights both locally on the OMW server and also on the database. The second user account is used by just one OMW process "ovpmad" - and has special delegation rights so that package and policy can be deployed to the managed nodes.

 

The agent that is running on the OMW server or on any Windows nodes runs as SYSTEM account (this is a local account that has full admin rights locally on the Windows server). The agent that runs on any Unix/Linux node runs as 'root' user and hence again has full admin rights locally on the node.
