SiS Support Tip: How to make sis attempt sshv2 connection first

Hi all ,

If you need to configure SiS to first attempt to connect using ssh v2 you could check the following document : http://support.openview.hp.com/selfsolve/document/KM00753241 .

Hope this helps !

Hi Yordan,

Do we need to write the command, if it's not existing already?

Hi Ashok,

Yes, you need to add it to the master config (it was also not there for me as well ), see how the connection should look like before and after the setting is added .

Let me know if you had some further questions 🙂 .

Thanks Yordan,

I wish it would have come 2 months ago! I did it for 400 servers manually in Remote Servers 😞 😉

Important to mention that master.config key only works for versions higher or equal to 10.14 + latest cumulative fix. Another workaround is to use GSAR on remotes to manually check that setting.
