Sitescope 11.12 integration with BSM 9.13 through System Availability Management

Dear Experts,

We are trying to integrate Sitescope 11.12 with BSM 9.13 in Admin-SAM console, and we are gettign the error "New registration to HP Business Service Management failed". We tried to remove cache from sitescope and integrate with BSM still it is throwing the same error.

Also we are able to open BSM console in sitescope server and sitescope console in BSM server with out any issues. we are able to telnet the required ports from sitescope to BSM and BSM to sitescope.

We have already integrated one more sitescope with the same BSm environemtn with out any trouble, but facing issue with the current sitescope and this is new sitescope which we want to integrate with which is on Windows server.

Attaching the bac.integration log for your reference.

Hi,

Do you have any network restrictions or customizations?

Hi Georgi,

No, we dont have any network restrictions. We are able to telnet the ports 80 for BSm and 8080 for sitescope with out any issue.

Hi,

It looks like a network issue.

In both directions the SiS and GW Full DNS and short DNS name must be resolvable to the real or Load Balancer IPs.

Record the communication with WireShark (from BSM to SiS and from SiS to GW) and find the network error.

You could have issue if this IP or short dns name is used previously for a SiS profile.

Check if the supplied passwords in the BSM integration profile are ok.

Make inaccessible int. profile in BSM-SAM and try to find it from SiS.

SiS and BSM are not using ony the ports 80 ad 8080 !

Best Regards,

Georgi
