Username Detection in RUM

Hi Experts,

We have installed HP RUM Probe and HP RUM Engine 9.1 on the same server. And we are using this to monitor flexcube application.

We  configured the same in Username detection tab in HP BSM 9.10 for Flexcube (Business Application) using regular expression in advanced criteria and gave the URL for Login Page. But we are unable to cature the Username.

The URL where the username appears is as follows:-

  http:

//server-ip/ABCPQR_ENQ_FCC_7.1.0.0.0.0.0_13-DEC-2011_ENG_Transaction_Input

where ABCPQR is Username

webtier is NCA over http

Please find the Screenshot for Details.

Please Suggest asap.

Regards,

Blselenium

Experts,

When we tried to extract username from the above mentined URL our got DB get populated with some garbage values under username field and yet we havent achieved the results in session analyzer.

Pls suggest the necessary mechanism or any appropriate document to achieve our agenda.

Thanks & Best Regards,

Mascotte

Hi Den,

The regular expression which we used is

    .*/(.*?)_.*

for URL

 http

://server-ip/ABCPQR_DEL_MHO_FCC_7.1.0.0.0.0.0_15-DEC-2011_ENG_Transaction_Input

we tried this regular expression in username detection tab under advanced criteria using Test Feature which is present there.

And  garbage value is not readable.

Regards,

Blselenium.

Hello,

Just to be sure; are you sure set "Search in" field as "Content (Generic)"?

Thanks,
Den

Same problem here. Did you solve it?

Parameters are in HTTP Headers.

Does Content(generic) include headers?

Thank you, Best regards,
