Vugen record in Web(HTTP/HTML) Protocol

Jump to solution
Hi all,

I have record 1 JSP Application using Web(HTTP/HTML) Protocol. But when I replay the script, I get this message :

Also, if the data you want to save exceeds 1024 bytes, use web_set_max_html_param_len to increase the parameter size [MsgId: MERR-26377]

FYI, PeopleSoftJSessionID3 is a corelation parameter that is automatically created by Vugen.

I think the session is failed to retrieve because of some ignored data in cookies.

Do you have any solution?

Thanks,

Hi All,

This issue indeed points to problem the way LR handles the cookies.

We also encountered the same issue (Warning -26565: HTTP Status Line detected after some undetermined data, which will be ignored) while scripting JDEdwards Application and invested days together to troubleshoot it.
Script was redirected to â Login Pageâ (of application under test) each time any page was accessed by the script!(may be due to loss of cookie).

However, 'UnInstalling LoadRunner' & 'ReInstalling LoadRunner' with restarts before & after Installation helped us solve this issue!!! (The issue eventually boiled down to corrupt LoadRunner Installation)

Post Clean Re-Installation, this issue never arrived and we never had to co-related SessionIDs as this was handled by browser & LoadRunner internally.

We used the following:-
LoadRunner v 9.1
JDEdwards v 8.11
Windows XP

Hope this helps you too!!!

Regards,
Rajat
