options to retreive sonic opr_gateway_queue other than launching sonic

Jump to solution

Hello Experts,

Is there any way to retreive the sonic message queue ? like a jmx or a command line utility

I tried opr-checker.bat but the result contains the following error

      Sonic Info
jms_util: ERROR: Unexpected exception while trying to get size data: java.lang.NullPointerException

Thanks in advance

First of all, having System Health with BSM is a best practice, so think about it.

CLI alternatives would be using opr-jmxClient and/or opr-jmsUtil, e.g.

<HPBSM>\opr\support\opr-jmxClient.bat -b "Foundations:service=MonitorBus" -m showQueueInfo -u admin -p admin -s <BSM server>:29601

<HPBSM>\opr\support\opr-jmsUtil.bat

you also get these in System Health (works only with BSM9.x) which is using jmx operation. you can find out which operation exactly by editing the SiS monitor itself.
