If you cannot reach the server remotely at all, there are many possible issues that might be the cause.
For example, the network cable might have come loose from the server because it was not plugged in all the way. Or the server may have burned to ashes. Or anything in between.
Because the system does not seem to respond to OVO, it cannot give you any more information than that.
Does the system have a remote console (GSP/MP/iLO) configured? If it has, try to use it to check what is happening.
If you find there is no way to reach the server through the network, then someone must go to the server and physically check it.

Hi,
1st check if the node is really up, U have tried all methods to reaching the node thro network. as matti said, there can be any kind of problem. Also, pls chk if in the firewall the ports to n from the node is blocked or open. Talk to your network people and find out the reason for the connectivity problem. Also check in the event log for any information.
