SNMP integrator gets different values compared to snmpwalk

Hi!
I'm using SNMP integrator for UPS monitoring.
I need to get a parameter "upsAdvBatteryRunTimeRemaining" (the UPS
battery run time remaining before battery exhaustion).
I found its OID (1.3.6.1.4.1.318.1.1.1.2.2.3.0), so when I ask the
device with snmpwalk, I get the correct answer (2:41), but when I ask
for it from SNMP integrator, I suddenly get 7:20.
Why does it happen?
The parameter has timeticks datatype

Re: SNMP integrator gets different values compared to snmpwalk

I'm sorry, I'm not sure why. Your probably going to need to work with
Support to see what the options are. Potentially the adapter needs an
enhancement to allow you to override the value and/or to read it
differently and/or allow a calculation.

I did a google search and got a hit on that OID and it is listed as
"Time to end of fuel" and it returns minutes. It was for an APC UPS:
http://oss.oetiker.ch/mrtg/pub/contrib/UPSAPC.txt

Another thread said it was "upsAdvBatteryRunTimeRemaining (timeticks)
'Cacti • View topic - UPS Smart APC templates'

Another stating runtime remaining: 'Common SNMP OID Strings -
WebWatchBotWiki'

I did notice a few different formats of the results returned and
potentially depending upon the snmpget parm's you are using with the
snmpwalk. Sorry I can't be more helpful with this one. You could turn
on debug for that adapter or for the entire server to see if there are
more details in the log for the returned results, other than that,
you'll probably need to work with support.

Re: SNMP integrator gets different values compared to snmpwalk

I turned on debug mode and here is what I see there.

Code:
--------------------
2011-12-22 12:06:19,371 DEBUG Integration.SNMP.Adapter: NOC - SNMP Integrator.Trace - Received GET on OID 1.3.6.1.4.1.318.1.1.1.2.2.3 for collector: snmp://10.0.1.12/upsBattery/upsBattery
2011-12-22 12:06:19,371 DEBUG Integration.SNMP.Adapter: NOC - SNMP Integrator.Trace - > display name: upsAdvBatteryRunTimeRemaining
2011-12-22 12:06:19,371 DEBUG Integration.SNMP.Adapter: NOC - SNMP Integrator.Trace - > raw value: 966000
2011-12-22 12:06:19,371 DEBUG Integration.SNMP.Adapter: NOC - SNMP Integrator.Trace - > mib address: iso.org.dod.internet.private.enterprises.apc.products.hardware.ups.upsBattery.upsAdvBattery.upsAdvBatteryRunTimeRemaining
2011-12-22 12:06:19,371 DEBUG Integration.SNMP.Adapter: NOC - SNMP Integrator.Trace - > converted value: 8:20:0
2011-12-22 12:06:19,371 DEBUG Integration.SNMP.Adapter: NOC - SNMP Integrator.Trace - Threshold computed condition Unmanaged for property upsAdvBatteryRunTimeRemaining for snmp://10.0.1.12/upsBattery/upsBattery
--------------------

It shows that SNMP integrator got the correct raw value (966000
minutes) and then converted it to 8:20:0.
I have no idea how 966000 minutes could have turned to 8:20:0
